I like going to Baguio City to get away from the blistering heat of Manila weather. My favorite place to visit is Camp John Hay because of its convenience and the wide variety of things to do in the resort. The Camp John Hay area used to be in the hands of the Americans, but when it was turned over to private developers, it was reconstructed to create a beautiful array of private vacation houses, hotels, and other lodging facilities. The most famous one is the Camp John Hay Manor, which thousands flock to in the summer. Camp John Hay also boasts of the best golf course in the Philippines, designed by Jack Niclaus himself, and location for some of the country’s most prestigious golf events. [more] |
