Deacon Brodie's Tavern
Deacon Brodie's Tavern is a pretty interesting pub, first off, with an even more interesting history, according to the large wooden sign that was so proudly displayed here, despite the tavern gaining its name from a man who was kind by day and as worse as they come by night, named William Brody. Aside from that, we came here for a couple of pints to relax, which was a bit hard to do, though, because the pub was packed with many, many people. Nevertheless, the beer was good and their fish and chips weren't half bad, either, I'd say! Definitely worth returning to. [more] |
