Black Iris
If you go to the Egyptian restaurant “Black Iris” on DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn, you get treated like a queen. Actually you would not have to order anything and still you were full. You are welcomed with tea and at the end you get cake or baklava for free. I went there almost twice a week. If they know you they treat you even better. Once I forgot my money and they just told me to pay later and even not at all. I always ate the lentil soup with fresh bread and a falafel sandwich. No restaurant could ever top its quality. [more] |
