Prague - U černého orla
The restaurant “U černého orla” is very well located, just as you exit the magnificent Charles IV Bridge, towards the castle side of the Vltava River. Above it you have the residence with the same name. This is a very old place– its history going back beyond the year 1500. The restaurant is not that big, but quite cozy. It has old paintings and arch curved ceilings – which give it an inviting old style. The food was ok – we did not order any particularly remarkable specialty. I remember mostly the good Czech beer – that makes any common dish disappear faster. Prices were not terribly expensive – but in Prague you may find cheaper restaurants. In general a nice place to eat - I had dinner there two of the three times I was in Prague. [more] |
