Dancing at Honey
Honey is one of my favorite nightclubs of Vancouver. Friday night is the best night to go, as it is called "Mod Night" and they play a selection of 60's/70's songs (The Doors, Kinks, CCR) mixed with some modern favorites from the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Hot Hot Heat, Nirvana, and other great bands. It is always a young, hip crowd that's just there to have a good time, and I find that the atmosphere is very free and fun. Everyone always seems to be enjoying themselves, although it does get quite busy later on in the evening, so make sure to come earlier to have some space to dance.
