La Malagueta Beach
La Malagueta Beach is an urban beach located in the center of Málaga City. La Malagueta is both popular for locals and visitors. You can reach the beach from la Alcazaba or the Bullring in about 5-10 minutes. The beach is an artificial beach as the sand is brought from the Sahara Dessert. The beach is about 2,5 km long which makes it ideal for long strolls along the promenade. There are several "chiringuitos" (Beach Bars) where you can seat for a drink or try some nice fried fish.
