Casa Real Shrine
Casa Real Shrine is a hip heritage site in Bulacan that carries some of the province’s most precious treasures. Centuries before, Casa Real was a printing facility. Today, it was made into a historical storehouse of whatever is left of the memorabilias of old Bulacan. Casa Real was duly recognized by the National Historical Institute and rightfully so, this spot is a nice visit to go back to history on a more personal level. My first exploration of Casa Real was when I was in grade school as part of an educational field trip. When I grew older, I decided to visit Casa Real again and I was impressed by my new discoveries, which did not interest me before. Casa Real Shrine is best experienced when the trip is combined with hearing a mass at the Malolos Cathedral and shopping at the Malolos City Market, which is a source of cheap buys. [more] |
