A Haven for City Dwellers
One thing that city dwellers can’t live without is a bar. I confess, though I know that I’m in the country side, I still look for bars in the area. Why? Out of curiosity, maybe; I just want to see how country people have fun at night. Well, Bacolod City doesn’t fail people when it comes to bars. It boasts of several resto bars, disco bars, and drinking kiosks all around the city. But the most popular place to go to for bars is Goldenfield. I have known this place as much as I can remember, but I just got a chance to stay and experience it this October. Apart from resto bars, it also has a bowling alley and a billiard hall. Just don’t expect too much from the bowling alley; you’ll be disappointed like I was. It’s not so much fun to even look at. Goldenfield also has several hostels where you can sleep over for just three hours at a cheap price. You’ll need these hostels if you’re a drunkard. Trust me. But for a longer stay, there’s a hotel in the area, too. The good thing about Goldenfield is while the whole city is sleeping, it’s open for nightingales who want to have an exciting Bacolod night.
