It is always good to have a hotel just in the middle of the city because it is near all the shops that provide the basic human needs. An example of such a hotel is the Bacolod Pension Inn or Bacolod Pension Plaza. Located just across the City Plaza, this hotel is convenient to every tourist especially during the Masskara Festival. I have also experienced local hospitality in this hotel. The staff—from the front desk to the house keeping—is very accommodating. They entertain inquiries and guide tourists about the city. Though the rooms are not really something luxurious, they are enough for those who are looking for clean and peaceful accommodation. Lastly, prices in Bacolod Pension Plaza are quite reasonable. An overnight stay starts at 900Php or around $20. Surely, there are cheaper hotels like those that offer 600Php or around $13.
