Nevada Beach - camping with chipmunks stars

Nevada Beach stays on the beautiful margins of Lake Tahoe – not far after crossing the California border. I spent a weekend at Nevada Beach Campground recently – and it was really relaxing.

In September nights already get cold to go camping at Lake Tahoe, due to altitude. Days were sunny though and the forest adjacent to the beach is really nice. The campground is quite organized and obviously you need to book in advance and check in with the guards. There are toilettes and outside water taps available. Some supermarkets are not far away in case you need any kind of supplies.
