Hanoi Hotel stars

Hanoi has always been a favourite place for me, along with Ho Chi Minh in the south. I always find it a bit surprising that the people who live there are so friendly to westerners. I stay at the Green Park which is not one of the big chain hotels but a mid range, cosy sort of place. It has that French colonial style which is still very evident in Hanoi. The hotel is very handy for the central business district and not too far a walk to places such as the Thien Quang Lake.. Its not a cheap hotel by Asian standards, but then Vietnam is not always a very cheap place to stay, especially in the big cities [more]
