Backpacker’s Traveller Inn
Backpacker’s Traveller Inn is a great hostel, located in Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. There is seven minutes walk to get there from Pudaraya bus station. There is a choice between dorms (11 Ringgits) and double rooms (28-36 Ringgits, depends on the size). The rooms with attached bathrooms are a bit overpriced and cost over 50 Ringgits. Bed linen and lockers are provided and there is Wi-Fi for 5 Ringgits/24 hours. The stuff is very friendly and can provide a lot of information about Kuala Lumpur and surrounding area. Backpackers' Travellers Inn - for the Despotic
If you are a budget traveller in Kuala Lumpur looking for a cheap backpacker’s lodge, the Backpackers Travellers Inn is definitely one of the choices. To me, it’s not much to look at from outside – just a steel gated door leading up the stairs to the lodge proper, but it has all the amenities that you want. Located at the Chinatown, the lodge is near banks, markets, food hawkers, shops, plus a hair salon called Despotic Salon, etc. There is no curfew. Five stories high, you can go to its rooftop and rest, enjoy the view and chat to other guests. Rates range from RM35 to RM55 ($1=RM3.50). [more] |
