Majestic Red Rocks at Sedona National Park
Sedona National Park was located about 2 hours away from Mesa. This spectacular park with it´s majestic red rock formations was a magnificent place. As one approaches Sedona Town the impressive rocks overtake the horizon. The formation extended for miles. There were hundreds of paths for hiking around the rock formations. This national park offered many activities even spectacular hot air balloon rides. We walked around the river with views to the Castle Rock, one of the most popular formations. This was an excellent area for a swim, specially for children. We stayed just for 4 hours as my time in Arizona was short, a bit of a long trip for just one day. A cracking impressive landscape.
