Cheap, Fun Accomodation at Camping Michelangelo
I've been to Florence quite a few times and every time I go I stay at Camping Michelangelo. It's a campsite, but if you don't have your own tent you can rent a bed within a shared tent, basically like a dorm. Not only is it really cheap, it's in an amazing location with a stunning view over the city and the Tuscan hills beyond. The downside is it can get pretty cold at night, but you can always ask the staff for more blankets. I think the camp attracts quite an interesting array of people, and some of the best times I've had in Florence have been sat drinking wine until late at their picnic tables. [more] |
