Impressive Rata Vine
If your lucky enough to be on the road between Granity and Karamea then keep an eye out for the sign that points towards the massive Rata Tree vine that is hosting itself off an equally as massive rainforest tree. If your heading towards Karamea it will be on your right-hand side and there is a small sign that directs you to it. A short walk up the rainforest path leads you to the massive vine which is slowly climbing its way up the tree. Check it out, its well worth the short walk! [more] |
