Scenic Canyons and great Pictographs at Bukhorn Wash
The road that took us to Buckhorn Wash Pictograph panel was a scenic drive through superb canyons. The road had a length of 48 kilometres. 36 kilometres on the road you will find the Buchkorn Native American Rock Art Site with many pictographs as well as a few petroghlypsh. Some of them seemed like they slightly started to fade by there were still a few magnificent samples. There were also many trails through side roads along the main Buckhorn Wash road, but you can continue on this road for another 6 kilometres to find the Dinosaur track or 12 kilometres to the exit towards US Highway 6. No restaurants or cafés along this road so essential to bring your supplies. [more] |
