Good films
Metropolis means Independent or better shows films that are not available in other film theaters. I love to go there because they show those kind of movies, those you never heard of before. The theater concentrates in different topics each week. So maybe one week they show films about a certain country, the next week about political issues and another week they show works of one particular director. Once in a while the directors of their work show up and you can discuss with them after the film. Also, there are other events going on, for example reading sessions. The tickets cost around six Euros. Not that cheap but it is normal for Hamburg. [more] |
