DOLCE SUPER CLUB, TOMAS MORATO QUEZON CITY
I'll go straight to the point. DOLCE SUPERCLUB SUCKS. I've been to bars all over Manila, Makati, Quezon City, etc. and I would have to say that dolce superclub is really bad compared to the clubs I've been to. With all due respect, dolce superclub has been around for a long time (3 years maybe?), but this club, is not comparable to other clubs in terms of being cool and classy in the Philippines. The first thing I've noticed was the crowd. Even when I was just about to enter the club, the atmosphere was already tacky and un cool. "jologs" so to speak. Secondly, the concierge was really snotty, (as if they have the best club in the world. sheesh). As I've said before, I've been to other clubs and i don't mind them being snobby if the club was really exclusive and classy. Sad to say, dolce doesn't have these classifications. Third, are the bouncers. They don't treat customers with respect. They rudely talk back when you complain to them and even called me and our argument as "walang kwenta" (worthless). Is that the kind of customer service you expect from someone claiming to be "world class"? The employees there lack training. C'mon, you're dealing with people who drank alcohol, you should know how to deal with them in a certain way. Do not disrespect your customers. People only get angry if they have a reason to be angry. To sum it all up, when you're in Quezon City, Philippines and you're looking for a place to party, let this be a recommendation/warning to you: do not choose dolce super club. But if you want to party with people who are at the lowest part of the socioeconomic spectrum, people who buy one drink that would last them the entire night (this isn't because they're weak drinkers), people who are tacky and boorish, people who are considered to be part of the underprivileged masses, employees who have no respect that could ruin your night, be my guest, dolce away. A Sweet Nightlife
If you happen to be in the Tomas Morato area on a Friday night and you are looking for a place to party, I suggest you try Dolce, one of the newest clubs in the area. Well, aside from the fact that the place is new, Dolce is pretty much straightforward with its security and location so it is no surprise that partygoers and holiday-eager people fill the club, especially during Fridays and holiday weekends. When in Dolce on a Friday, expect to bounce to techno and club beats. There are times when the atmosphere or the crowd may not be motivating enough for some grinding, but for all its worth, Dolce is one of the must-try, "in" superclubs of today. [more] |
