A Japanese Resto for Filipinos
Unlike other people, Filipinos love rice! So, there’s no wonder if the top offer of some restaurants even Japanese ones such as Tokyo-Tokyo is unlimited rice. I like Tokyo-Tokyo because of this offer especially when I’m ravenous. Apart from the rice, this restaurant serves satisfying bento meals like Beef Teriyaki, Honey-glazed chicken, and many more—each meal has a veggie side dish. California Maki and desserts are also available. Another unique offer of Tokyo-Tokyo is its drink, the red Iced Tea. I don’t like this drink though because it’s too sweet for me. Besides the food and drinks, this restaurant is also popular because of its youthful interior. It has wooden Japanese dividers and the walls have colorful graphics. Overall, this Japanese restaurant may look really Japanese. But once you enter and find out about the menu, you’ll realize that it’s really for Filipinos. [more] |
