We went to this museum on a Saturday when they offered a free guided tour in the morning. I can highly recommend the tour because it´s quite a large collection and if you tried to read all that history yourself it could get very exhausting.
The city has a very old and rich history and the collection gives you an interesting overview of the literature, religion, politics, architecture etc of different times.
I especially liked the section with posters from the 20th century with anything from war propaganda to selling the city as a tourist destination! Also loved the old photograph collection which had some fantastic shots of the city and its people. We were told by the... [more]
