The casino gardens
Monte Carlo casino gardens are a wonderful place to spend some time in Monaco if you are not a big fan of casinos like me. There are so many different trees and beautiful fountains between them, nice benches with views towards the sea or the casino. And from the gardens behind the casino you can have also a great view towards the sea. Unfortunately there are several streets passing through the gardens so the place is not really calm, but if you are looking for a calm place in Monaco then you can find it only in the old town. The famous Casino
Monte Carlo casino is the greatest tourist attraction in Monaco, although most of the tourist don't want to play but just to visit it, just like me. The entrance to the beautifully decorated foyer is free, but to enter the gambling parts of the casino you have to pay 20 euros. And you have to be in a suit, but if you don't currently have one the casino can provide you with a suit for free. There is also a small section just right after the entrance with slot machines that everyone can try for a small sum. [more] |
