Lick Your Fingers at Kenny Rogers Roasters
If you are looking for good ole American grilled chicken, you should be at the Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR). And the best outlet, in my opinion, is at Jalan Imbi Streeet, adjacent to the touristy Bukit Bintang Street. Why? Simply because of the interesting happenings around that place. There are four all time favourites – the country-style soup, roasted chicken salad, Caesar salad and round-up platter. Price? About RM12 (USD4) apiece. Particularly special is the roasted chicken salad. The plate is full of fresh and crisp onion, lettuce, cucumber and egg tossed with KRR’s very own heir special thousand island sauce dressing topped with roasted sliced chicken. I’m no expert in thousand island sauce but I think theirs is a unique concoction. Their formula? It’s a trade secret, according to the crew.
