Catfish Got Your Tongue? Everyone is Talking About Aunt Catfish's Restaurant
A restaurant that is a favorite with both local and visitors alike is Aunt Catfish's On the River. Aunt Catfish's restaurant has been in business in the same location for more than 25 years. This is a great place to go to get seafood, enjoy a view of the river and just relax. During the week, they offer lunch beginning at 11:30 am to 4 pm. There are even lunch hour baskets available for $5.99 USD from 11:30 am to 3 pm Monday – Friday. Dinner is from 11:30 am to close on Monday through Sunday. Aunt Catfish's is noted for their Sunday Brunch which is a wonderful buffet of breakfast and lunch items. The “Blue Jeans” Sunday brunch at Aunt Catfish's is something to dream about. This is definitely not for the “I never eat breakfast" bunch! Mouthwatering items tempt most people into ordering the brunch as opposed to ordering a “regular” breakfast. I like to get there between 9 am and 10 am. That way, I can get the “early bird” price of $11.99 USD. After 10 am until 2 pm the price rises to $14.99 excluding drinks or gratuities. Bring your appetite! The brunch buffet at Aunt Catfish's features made to order omelettes, pancakes and French toast.
