Green Dragon Gorge- A great mountain, close to the nature
Green Dragon Gorge Scenic Spot, perfect place for hot summer retreat, featuring scenic views and tranquil atmosphere. The Green Dragon Gorge nestles on the foot of a mountain, boasting lush plants and a large nice lake. The highlight of the Green Dragon Gorge is Wanglong Waterfall, a very large fall cascading from a steep cliff. The view is very spectacular with such a big fall. Besides, a pavilion next to the Wanglong Waterfall called Wangqin pavilion is also an interesting place to visit. The pavilion is a typical Qin dynasty establishment and by standing on the pavilion, you can enjoy a great bird view of the Wanglong Waterfall. You can take 936 zhi from Dongzhimen to Green Dragon Gorge and the bus ride takes 50 mins. [more] |
