San Diego Train Station
I like traveling by train but I am fairly sure most Americans are not that keen. Given the opportunity I will mix my travel options, even in a country which is predominantly for the car user. So when I had the chance of going by rail from this wonderful old railway staion in San Diego, I took it. Railway stations the world over, are often a legacy of former times, some grand or some very rustic, as is San Diego. It looks as though there could well be a Mexican bandit hiding in there, and it most definately takes a step back to the days when this part of America was a very different place to that of today. Ornate, Spanish and full of atmosphere is how I would describe San Diego Railway Station. [more] |
