Plaza de Toros (Bull Ring). La Condomina
In the city of Murcia, Spain, there is a wonderful old building, apparently built in the late 1880's, which is The Plaza de Toros (the Bullfighting Ring). Personally, I am not in favour of Bull Fighting, but it is a tradition in Spain, which I think will be there forever. I think that the building has got nice architecture and worth looking at for its history. Murcia is a very large City. Many people from all over the World visit this place. The Plaza de Toros not only put on bull fights, the building is also used for concerts. In September 2008, the American group, R.E.M., had a concert there, which I went to with my wife. If you like the music of R.E.M. the concert was absolutely fantastic. The building itself was nice to explore, and staff and security was good. [more] |
