Buddha Bar, great place to smoke shisha (hookah)
There are not a lot of bars that you can smoke shisha (hookah) in Aachen. Shisha (hookah) is a stemmed water pipe for smoking. You pay about 8 Euros and you get one hookah with one cube of charcoal. You can choose the flavors you want for you shisha, like apple flavor, mint flavor, strawberry flavor or peach flavor. You can also mix the flavors. My favorite is apple and mint mixed. If you just want to chill with your friends and smoke shisha, Buddha Bar is really the right place. Sometimes, they also hold some parties at the basement, but I prefer the bar on the first floor. When there is no party, you can also hang out at the basement, but it is too smoky because there is no window. The best spot at Buddha Bar is next to the window, because you get nice view. Besides shisha, Buddha Bar also offers cocktails, beers, and some other liquor. I find the cocktails are a little more expensive than most of bars in Aachen.
