The Promise of Eastwood Mall
Probably, the bet of the eastern part of the metro when it comes to fine dining, luxury shopping, and recreation comes in the form of the newly launched Eastwood Mall. Opened to the public late last year, Eastwood Mall holds the promise of rivalring the upscale malls in the metro by featuring not just high-end shops but also a grand, open-spaced (and best of all, pet-friendly) park where people can enjoy a good view of Eastwood City's regular fireworks display. Though Eastwood Mall is yet to be finished and filled with shops and restaurants, I am already excited over the prospect of not traveling too far to the business districts to have a taste of the posh life. At night, I can actually see people hanging around at the park or at the nearby coffee shop with their families, friends, or officemates.
