Breads and More at Pan de Manila
Breads are not really my thing but when they are from a store called Pan de Manila, I think twice. After all, who could resist breads that are freshly made, practically straight from an oven? Never mind that you have to drive to the store to get your breakfast fill from the popular bread buns. When you walk inside the Pan de Manila store, one thing that might struck you is the innovativeness of the company—not just in breads or other pastries but also in related products, like spreads. Pan de Manila is probably the only "pugon" (local oven) store with its own brand of spreads and bread varieties. Best buys among these are the spanish sardines (in jars) and the pesto-cream filled breads. [more] |
