The German Taste in the Philippines
Since I’m always on a tight budget, I seldom eat at European restaurants. That’s why when I get my chance, I never let it go. So when my mother asked me to join her for a meal at Schwarzwalder Restaurant, I didn’t hesitated. The name itself was unusual so it triggered my curiosity on what the resto could offer. The Schwarzwalder Restaurant has a lot to give, indeed! It primarily serves German cuisines—from Linseneintopf to Blue Marlin Meuniere—that suite anyone’s pallet. Not to mention, mine was certainly satisfied. But before you could taste those foods, let me talk about the presentation first. All my meals were meticulously arranged in my plate, which titillated my taste buds more. What adds to the food presentation is the restaurant interior. It imbibes a contemporary feel with its colorful mural that I immediately noticed because of the fascinating use of colors.
