A Market at the Park
Every village has its own open space allocation, but not every village takes care of it this well. Narra Park in Ayala Alabang is one of the best spots to have a nice, casual picnic with friends or a special someone. There are benches in the small gazebo beside the parking lot, but the best shade is really under the acacia trees. On Saturday mornings I like to browse the market there for organic veggies. You’ll also find treats like lechon, Benguet coffee, and flavored suman (rice cake) there. Just bring your blanket or banig (weaving mat), throw in a couple sandwiches, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the company of Mother Nature. [more] |
