Regular shawarma wraps in comparison to the exquisite balance of flavor in every morsel of Bizhan Persian Express—this tiny shop tucked in the heart of Ayala Alabang is a staple at the Cuenca Park Christmas bazaars, and a favorite of residents hankering for a quick, healthy meal. What I can say my 65 pesos (around US$1.4) is well worth for this authentic Iranian treat. Bizhan Persian Express offers a generous helping of meat; intermingled with the freshest, crunchiest vegetables; smothered in homemade yogurt; and wrapped up in a perfectly toasted pita. And that’s just one shawarma dish. Bizhan Persian Express also offers a wide selection of flavorful dishes on their catering menu, like samosa, hummus, and mutabal.
