Bad Dim Sum, Worse Service
I went to the Szechuan Gallery for a dim sum lunch before the Chinese New Year Parade this year. I’ll admit, it was not the best experience and I probably won’t be back. The dim sum was served from a metal cart, the kind where you point at the food you want and they give it to you. In theory this should mean that you get to eat immediately, but we waited at least ten minutes before we were offered any food. Once we were served, we noticed that we were missing our chopsticks and asked for some. The request was apparently forgotten and after asking again, we finally received them. We never got the water we asked for. The dim sum itself wasn’t that great either. Pretty bland overall. I would recommend giving this one a miss. [more] |
