Toby Carvery Burnt Tree
The Toby Carvery, at Burnt Tree, Dudley, West Midlands, is a cavery pub restaurant I have been to. Toby Carvery pubs are a particular chain of this sort of restaurant offering a cavery meal for around £5 per person which is very good value for money, considering that you can literally eat as much as you want. I like to be sensible at carvery’s. I will always try one slice of each meat available. I have had turkey, chicken, pork, beef and lamb. Not all at the same time, as I have been to this particular on more than one occasion. Along with the meat, you have the choice of boiled potatoes, roast potatoes, cauliflower, peas, carrots and the usual array of vegetables. In my opinion you need to go at a proper lunch time or evening time when the food is just cooked and still fresh. I have been to this location at about 4pm for a meal once, and I have to say that the food to me tasted like it was the left overs from lunch time and was a little bit luke warm. On complaining to staff, the meal was warmed up but it was not as good as it should have been. It is OK but only at the correct eating times for the UK. [more] |
