Frankie & Bennys, Castlegate Way, Dudley, West Midlands, is a restaurant I have been to with family. There theme is based on being a New York Italian Restaurant. Obviously, the theme for the main courses are Italian pastas and spaghetti. But on the menu, I saw a Bacon Cheese Burger. It was quite a big burger, with chips and more than enough for a main course. I did not require a starter on this occasion and neither did I have room to fit in a dessert afterwards. My wife had the New York strip sirloin steak, which she enjoyed very much, cooked just to her liking, and I wish that I had chosen that when I saw it! Other members of my group had Pizza. All the food was cooked very nicely and the staff were pleasant. For one of these types of ‘Frankie & Benny chain pub / restaurants’ it was a very enjoyable experience. [more] |
