Burning up the Night Sky in Almeria
It’s like Mother Nature has grabbed hold of a flame thrower and pointed it in the direction of Almeria in southern Spain. When the sun goes down for the day and slips behind the Sierra Cabrera mountains the effect can sometimes be simply stunning. A vivid, rich, bright, and beautiful display as the light floods over and through the clouds. It’s one of those spectacles that makes you stop what you’re doing and stare (oh and reach for a camera), and it usually lasts for about thirty minutes.
