Freshest happy hour mojitos
World Cafe on bustling Main Street is a great place in Santa Monica for happy hour (Mon-Sun 4-7pm) and live music. The beer and wine selection is good and fairly priced, but the winner is the $5 dollar Mojito, made right before you in the funky bar lounge area. You can also dine on the lush patio, which at night glows with hundreds of Christmas lights. My favorites on the menu are the pancetta-wrapped shrimp and the sesame-crusted Ahi tuna. They also make some tasty wood-fired pizzas. On weekends, I recommend making reservations. [more] |
