Cheap accommodation, great time!
A great option of accommodation in Caxambu is Canto do Sabia, a very small hotel with an amazing green area. The hotel is synonym of peace: the only noise I heard was the birds singing. And there is large variety of them! Enjoying the swimming pool and sauna and walking through the gardens are the best things to do in the summer. On the other hand, in the winter, when the temperatures are about 5 degrees, I recommend to stay besides the fireplace, drinking a good wine and eating a fondue. By the way, food is the speciality of the house. The breakfast, for instance, represents the better of “mineira cuisine”, famous in the Brazil. Cheese bread, variety of tropical fruits, breads and cakes, fresh juices and cheeses of the region complete the great hospitality. [more] |
