Guang Ji Temple – nice place to appreciate refined Buddhist temple in Xicheng district
Guang Ji Temple is a small yet very refined Buddhist temple, it is also where China Buddhist Association locates. The layout is a typical Buddhist temple one: the front yard is for receiving prayers, the middle yard has a big and exquisitely made temple while the back area has a beautiful garden adjoining an antique building. There are periodical Buddhism introductory activities held in the temple, so it would be interesting to visit then (mostly on the first day and fifteenth day of each month according to China’s lunar calendar) [more] |
