The Chateau Impney is hotel, restaurant, conference centre, in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, that I have been to for a meal on a couple of occasions, to celebrate a special family event.
This place is very posh and exclusive.
It is located 1 mile from the junction 5 of the M5 motorway.
There are acres of parkland, a golf course, a helipad if you want to arrive in style.
When I went recently for a relatives 80th birthday, you approach the building from a long winding driveway and in front of you; a view opens up of the very imposing building.
On entering the restaurant, we were greeted by staff who directed us to our reserved seats.
The staff were smartly dressed and very polite.
There were about 20 in our group and the waiters dealt with us all in a very efficient manner.
Starters and desserts were brought to our table, but the main course was a carvery.
The food was cooked absolutely perfect. Some family members have limited mobility and the waiters went out of their way to assist these people and carry everything for them. The catering staff also made a special Birthday Cake to celebrate the persons birthday.
If you were to go on your own or as a couple, the lunchtime carvery meals are not overly expensive.
If anyone is touring this part of Worcestershire, you must give this restaurant a try. [more]
