More than a Museum
The National in Singapore might be thought of as bit 'dry' as most National Museums tend to be. Not so, this one. No stuffy exhibitions here, where there is a varied program of exhibits, performances, cinema and workshops. Its the whole bag of arts in one place, and I rate as one of the best in South East Asia. The building is one of those typical British colonial ones with a modern bit stuck on the side. Inside its the most up to date, hi tech, high quality museum likely to be found anywhere. . The living galleries museum is open 10am to 8pm daily, and from 6 to 8 there is free admission.
