I live locally to the Blue Post, which is within walking distance from my home. I have been to the hotel on a couple of occasions, and would not recommend this facility to and one, I found the grounds and buildings in need of renovation, the service and attitude of the staff was not what I would expect from a facility of the class that it is supposed to be, and the standard of the food leaves a lot to be desired. Outdoors Entertainment at Blue Post Hotel
The Blue Post Hotel is situated within a walking distance from my home and I have always enjoyed spending my Sunday afternoons on the spectacular lawns of the hotel. The hotel is situated next to Chania Falls which obviously adds splendor to the raw wilderness that borders the Chania River. The one special thing that attracts me to the blue Post Hotel on Sunday afternoons is the wide array of entertainment that the hotel hosts for its guests every Sunday which are always complimented by the humming of the water at the falls. The hotel staff always invites traditional dancers and daring acrobats to stage entertaining performances on the hotel’s lawns where a buffet is served from noon to about 4.00 p.m. the buffet is always supplemented by very delicious roasted lamb chops. There are also several curio traders scattered all over the expansive grounds of the hotel and once in a while I usually purchase some beautiful curios and flower vases for my house. The hotel also provides accommodation facilities and playing grounds for children. [more] |
