Take a scenic trip on Mulholland Parkway
Mulholland Parkway or often called Mulholland Drive is a scenic road that winds over 55 miles through the Los Angeles mountains. The route starts on a mountain peak in the city of Calabasas, and ends west of the 101 Freeway in Hollywood. It offers panoramic city, mountain and ocean views. Part of the route still remains unpaved, so get ready for adventure. I recommend taking a day to do the whole route, but if you just want to get a taste, start at the breathtaking overlook at Stone Canyon, east of the 405 and then continue east to Hollywood Bowl Overlook just west of the 101.
