Restaurant at the Himley House Hotel
Himley House Hotel is a hotel I have been to purely to have a meal in the hotel restaurant. It is set in a rustic style and the restaurant serves a typical British country inn menu. There is plenty of choice, including pork loin steaks, Scottish salmon, shepherds pie, beef pie, steak meals and fish. I had the fish meal and my wife had the steak. There is also a reasonable range of real ales, plus all the normal beers, wines and soft drinks. The staff are friendly and the service was good. Everything was reasonably priced considering that it is a hotel restaurant. For a special treat, I would recommend a visit to the restaurant at this hotel. I cannot comment on the hotel facilities as I only went to this one for a meal. [more] |
