Hazelwood is a burger joint in Berlin listed in the IHT and Ed Ward’s Berlin blog as a place to get an authentic, real burger. The black furniture and red lamps make it feel more like a wine bar than a place to pick up a burger. Don’t confuse the free coffee refills with free refills for the other drinks such as the ice tea. The ice tea is completely overpriced at 3.5 euros but comes with nice mint leaves and ice. The burger is decent but doesn’t come with fries but a tiny coleslaw portion, which I didn’t understand and fries have to be ordered separately. If you like eating your burger in a classy atmosphere and centrally located in Prenzlauer Berg, then Hazelwood is your place. [more] |
