Tranquility and amazing landscape
Pico do Papagaio is located in Aiuruoca, in the south of Minas Gerais state, in the region of Vale do Matutu (or Matutu Valley). The Pico, considered one of the best attractions of the valley, has 2.293m altitude and is well-known due to the natural resources, with many waterfalls lost in a huge vegetation area. The place is really amazing with great trails where you can walk to explore further. However, to reach the place, you must walk around 8km of trail, with fascinating views of mountain range landscape. The place is very popular among the ecotourists, mystics and people who look for piece and leisure. Indeed, it is really a tranquil place! The best time to go to Pico do Papagaio is from May to September, due to the low average of rain. [more] |
