Rua do Franco, restaurants and shopping
Rua do Franco, or Franco Street is the main touristic pedestrian street between the Alameda or Rosaleda Park and the Cathedral. This street is packed with shops and restaurants, specially Sea Food. You can see alive crabs and lobsters on display on the windows. Also most of the shops have assistants offering small pieces of traditional Santiago Almond cake and other sweets. A lively and always busy street with anything traditional about Santiago, souvenirs, food, clothes. You will easily find this street walking from Plaza del Obradoiro towards the Rosaleda Park.
