Restaurant El Rincon Monte y Mar is a restaurant that I have been to on a number of occasions as it is a very good value for money restaurant and serves very nice food. It is located on a popular urbanisation called Gran Alacant, which is very close to Alicante city and airport. For 10€ per person you can have a menu del noche (a menu of the night). First of all the table receives a plate of salad for all to partake, followed by snacks such as ham croquettes. Then comes the first course, I have had melon with smoked ham, which is nice. There are normally choices of soups, spaghetti, prawn cocktail and that kind of food. For main courses there are choices of fish, pork chops, chicken, lamb, steak. I have tried the fish and the chicken meals, delicious. Desserts are choices of ice cream, fruit of the season, apple tart, and bread pudding. All are nice. In with the price is a drink of wine, beer or a soft drink and a coffee at the end. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the staff are friendly, it is very good value for money and the food is good.
