Girl Power at the Hotel Monaco Hotel Monaco was our home form home for a night in Munich to visit the Christmas Markets. We were welcomed by a lovely lady named Christine, who is also one of the hotel's owners. After signing for the necessary keys she showed us to our room and let us settle in. She also handed me the remote control for the TV, claiming that here at the hotel "the women have the power". A joke, of course, and a great way to feel at home with someone who knows how to have fun. On some websites the Hotel Monaco is described as a hostel but actually it is both combined and guests can choose whether they want a private or shared bathroom.
