Prague's Most Unsual Garden
Prague, and especially the area near the castle, has a lot of beautiful gardens to show off and be proud. I think the Waldstein garden near the Malostrana metro stop is the most outstanding however. It has everything - a mini labyrinth, a collection of weird and wonderful statues and an albino peacock. Most amazing though, is the dripping wall - a bizarre looking wall with rocks that look as if they are melting, and with strange faces and animals hidden in amongst them. The wall is truly unique, and even though I go there a lot it still fascinates me and I always see something different. Better still, the garden is free! [more] |
